Creating Cartoons

Go to ToonDoo. We are going to use this program to create a cartoon. You will need to create an account. Choose Public ToonDoo, FREE!

Here is a video on How to Make ToonDoo Comic Strips.

  • Go to Toons - Choose "Create Toon"
  • Choose 2 panel horizontal

Criteria:

Tell me a story, about what your summer plans are, internet safety, etc.

Must have:

  1. Characters - Use shrink, enlarge, flip, rotate, must have at least 1 character per frame, must have at least 2 different characters.
  2. Background
  3. Text(Bubbles) - at least 1 bubble per frame, must use different types of bubbles
  4. Props
  5. Name and Save each page
  6. When you have at least 2 pages you are going to put your pages into a book
  7. Go Books - Choose "Create Book. Add your pages.
  8. Click on Publish
  9. Title should be similar to P2-Cartoon-Your Name
  10. Use the envelope icon to email me your toon book(hand in) - brown_helen@surreyschools.ca
